CIS is the only school in Ho Chi Minh City to utilise the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) programme from kindergarten to Grade 12. The secondary school curriculum integrates the IB Diploma Programme for motivated students who wish to continue their education in international universities. Academic paths starting in Grade 9 include Business, Civics, Drama, Health and Physical Education, Arts, and Applied Mathematics.
