Viet Nam Quoc Tu Pagoda, or Vietnamese National Pagoda, features the biggest bronze statue of Buddha in Vietnam. The spacious pagoda also contains a 13-storey stupa (Buddhist shrine tower) built in honor of the protest against the 1963 suppression of Buddhism. The pagoda serves as the headquarters for Vietnam’s Buddhist Sangha and includes a number of historically important artifacts and festivals.
