People’s Committee Building

citypassguide

The People’s Committee Building, built between 1902 and 1908 by the French architect Paul Garde, is one of the best preserved examples of French colonial architecture in Saigon. Spacious gardens connect this iconic landmark with the Nguyen Hue walking promenade, where a statue of Ho Chi Minh stands guard. Go at nightfall, when the building and the boulevard sparkle with lights.
