Salt Fields - Nha Trang
Vietnam's extensive coastline is a major part of the economy with an annual salt production of around 737,000 tonnes. Tending to the fields is both strenuous and painstaking. Salt water is directed into fields and left for ten days to evaporate. The white mineral is then removed and left to dry before harvesting. You can see those salt fields on the way to Doc Let Beach.
