Facilities at MIS Binh An
As with all Montessori schools, MIS Thao Dien is designed to offer lessons, activities and tools that match the interests and needs of each student.
Our classrooms are prepared to provide a peaceful, uncluttered environment. Social interaction is encouraged by providing open spaces, and everything that your child comes into contact with is designed to encourage exploration and independent learning.
Our classrooms have large windows to allow plenty of natural light and are fitted with fans and air conditioning to provide a comfortable learning environment. They also use air purifiers to ensure that the air inside remains healthy when outdoor air quality is poor.
MIS Binh An Campus also has an outdoor garden and space of more than 100sqm. This area provides a lovely environment area with a sandpit surrounded by trees and plants, plus grass and wooden decking to provide a variety of surfaces for the little feet.
Schedule at MIS Binh An
The primary goal of a Montessori programme is to help each child reach their full potential. The daily schedule at our Binh An campus provides activities that helps your child to develop social skills, grow emotionally, and to improve their physical coordination. Under the direction of a highly trained Montessori teacher, your child will experience the joy of learning in a nurturing and stimulating environment. The expertly prepared Vietnamese programme employs the Montessori method to deliver all requirements of the Ministry of Education and Training curriculum.
The term ‘Montessori Work’ is used for the time when students are able to learn through activities of their own choice. This ‘purposeful play’ time is the foundation of the Montessori method.
‘Circle Time’ is another essential part of a day at a Montessori school. It gives students and teachers a chance to discuss the themes or topics of the week. It is also time for students to build relationships as they greet each other at the start of a new day.

Admissions at MIS Binh An
At all of the Montessori International School of Vietnam campuses, admission is not based on ability. Our aim is to provide a safe and stimulating environment for our students. We are sensitive to their individual needs. Testing their ability at such a young age does neither of these things.
Instead, we invite you to spend some time with us. Come and see an authentic Montessori school and get to know our staff and students. Let us get to know each other and if MIS Binh An is the right choice for you, we would be delighted to welcome you to our school!
