Saigon Super Sound Volume 2 Release Party
The wait is finally over! Open your nostalgic hearts and minds for the release of Saigon Super Sound Vol 2. Saigon Soul Revival is back with their funky, eclectic sound in the main upstairs club room at Arcan. The band is influenced greatly by the Western-influenced Vietnamese music from the 1960’s and 1970’s. They’re teaming up again with DJ Jan Hogenkoetter and psychedelic visual projections to bring their unique sound and energy to the audience. Wear your best ao dai or retro gear and get ready to dance the night away. Finding Arcan can be a bit tricky. Here’s my tip: look for the huge pile of bricks just past the Family Mart on Dien Bien Phu.

DO IT FOR THE CULTURE!
Whether performance, musical, or visual art, Saigon has a lot to offer in the way of cultural events.
Ballet Screening: Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland
Saigon Classical is back at Ca Phe Thu Bay with another classical screening. This time, they bring the ballet, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. This classic story is given new life with choreography by Christopher Wheeldon and music composed by Joby Talbot. The production mingles fantasy with reality by enveloping the audience in a cacophony of lights, sounds, and colors. Bringing the unforgettable antics of these infamous characters, The Royal Ballet transcends the stage. Just because you can’t see this performance live in Saigon doesn’t mean you can’t still enjoy the beauty of the ballet. Register online via TicketBox.
