Careers@Hilton Live Showcases the Dynamic Career Opportunities Available in Hospitality for Job Seekers Around the World

Vietnam, Hanoi - May 23rd 2015 - Hilton Hanoi Opera & Hilton Garden Inn Hanoi took part in its annual Careers@Hilton Live: Youth in Hospitality Month.

This is Hilton Worldwide’s largest ever global career event showcasing to young people, the many opportunities available in the hospitality industry. Throughout the month of May, Hilton Worldwide hotels and corporate offices around the globe hosted hundreds of events to inform those looking for employment, about the vast array of exciting opportunities available to all in the hospitality industry. This event is part of Bright Blue Futures, a global program that encourages Team Members to donate their time and expertise to help young people achieve stability and bring hope to their communities, preparing them for a brighter future.

Careers@Hilton Live: Youth in Hospitality Month is a part of Hilton Worldwide’s Open Doors commitment, which aims to positively impact at least one million young people by 2019 and better prepare them to reach their full potential.

Careers@Hilton Live: Youth in Hospitality events are a unique opportunity for Hilton Worldwide Team Members to inspire those looking for employment about careers in the hospitality industry, and to support them by providing guidance on the skills that are vital to succeed in the workplace and beyond.

On May 23rd 2015, Hilton Hanoi Opera & Hilton Garden Inn Hanoi hosted “Careers@Hilton Live”, a half-day event which welcomed over 500 students from ten different schools to explore the jobs and opportunities in a hotel, observe team members while on the job, participate in games and explore potential career interests and opportunities for themselves.

Join us on this special Grand Day Out to spend time with your family and friends, to experience the Australian & New Zealand Food & Wine culture and to raise fund to help Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation - an Australian charity rescuing kids in crisis in Vietnam with their future activities. 

The Grand Day Out will start from 10 am until 10pm with many fun activities for your little ones, we have prepared a kid’s corner with a large playground to keep your children occupied while you can enjoy your precious weekend with our BBQ station and a glass of wine from Lindemans’ wine booth. Moose & Roo Restaurant also provide a special menu for you to choose from.

Nguyen Do Minh Quan

Self - learned guitar at age 11, and then played in the band Rock / Metal as Nuranium and Thrasher, then became sound and recording engineer for a Vietnamese Post Punk band called Wood Lim, and then switched to play electronic music, the little guy Nguyen Do Minh Quan, never stops making audiences surprised with innovative and colorful music. He is very willing to give you an unforgettable night!

With Vietnamese musical instrument “Dan bau”, the young girl came out from Vietnam National Academy Music will give you an amazing night of time (past and contemporary) interference, the new combination between traditional instruments and electronic music.  Having been selected in the list Synthesis Album Vol. 1, Urban Art Berlin 2014 - the album focusing on the work of leading female composers in the world, Pham Thanh Tam promises to bring an unforgettable musical space!
