Saigon Square in District 1 is more akin to a market than an international shopping mall. All the shops are set up like kiosks within the same open space. You can find sunglasses, bags, and men’s and women’s fashion. The quality varies but there are some nice contemporary styles as well as a selection of traditional Vietnamese ao dai. Most vendors can speak some English. If you’re looking for trendy styles and low prices in Ho Chi Minh City, it’s worth a stop at Saigon Square.
