Ho Chi Minh City has a vast and variable range of schools dotted across its districts, from premier international schools to local and government schools. While fees for international schools are, as expected, high, an international standard of education is considered valuable as it opens doors to further study or career paths both in and outside of Vietnam. Most international schools are linked with sister universities overseas, often in America and Australia, which gives their students many opportunities to travel and widen their minds to our globalised world. Government schools offer a standard level of education, and teachers vary depending on the school. Prices are lower, class sizes are bigger, and lessons are mostly taught in Vietnamese.
