The most common mode of transportation in Saigon and all of Vietnam are motorcycles and cars. So, if you’re ever in need of a car or motorcycle repair shop while you’re traveling around the city or exploring on a scooter, you can go to the following stores for repairs and other things.
Before anything else, remember that it is advisable to go to official repair shops that will have some professionalism and maybe offer warranties for parts. They may be pricier than independent repair shops. If you don’t mind the risk, at least bring a translator or make sure you have a little bit of Vietnamese under your belt to describe the problem. However, you may find that most repair shops have great difficulty locating high quality parts and tools. There are also no Vietnamese certifications for motorbike repair, making it harder to trust unofficial repair shops.
