Getting high-speed internet is fairly easy in Vietnam, although the speed may not be on par with the ones in western countries but it’s getting there.

Speed is still currently a serious issue and a source of much frustration for expatriates and locals alike. The lines connecting the US to Southeast Asia often suffer breaks, which causes connectivity problems for the whole country and particularly HCMC. New and faster cables are being installed and improvements are being constantly made but connectivity problems still can be inconsistent from time to time.
