WHERE TO EAT IN Phan Thiet Mui Ne

A number of restaurants have recently opened nearby the Lotte Mart on Phu Thuy, and these are packed every night. The foodie scene had previously been located around the Bo Ke coastal area, but the popularity of these eateries is slowly dwindling. In Mui Ne, a number of restaurants mainly focusing on hot pot dishes have opened to overwhelming success across the English school on Nguyen Minh Chau. At times, there are crowds of people lining up to get into these eateries, where previously there was nothing.

As for street food around town, there are definitely a few dishes to try that are done rather well in the area: cha cuon (a spread of differently prepared meats, vegetables, eggs and more, ready to be rolled in rice paper), chao long (congee served with either fish, chicken, beef or pork), goi oc giac (conch salad), BBQ lizards and Phan Thiet-style banh xeo (fried pancake) and mi quang (a noodle soup consisting of yellow noodles, prawn, eggs, pork and more.

As with many Vietnamese cities, you’ll find plenty of great city-specific eats and great restaurants for German, Indian, Italian, Asian or Vietnamese food lovers.
