Japanese Tombs

Altogether there are 40 Japanese tombs in Hoi An but the largest and easiest to access is that of Tani Yajirobei, a merchant who died in 1647. This tomb lies in the picturesque rice fields between old town and coast. The location also indicates the original “Japanese road” of olden Hoi An.
