As a powerfully multicultural city, Saigon is home to a variety of restaurants serving fusions of cuisine, preparation and cooking styles from around the world. The Deck, a riverside restaurant a little out of the centre of town, serves a number of dishes with largely imported ingredients and a fusion of dishes, meats and preparation styles from across Vietnam and a range of international countries. A number of Vietnamese-Western fusions also exist, and it is common for dishes from international countries to be altered slightly with the available ingredients. Meanwhile in the city’s busy District 1, Qui offers diners a fantastic choice of fusion dishes on their unique menu. Their food is exceptionally well prepared and presented and accompanied by one of the most interesting cocktail menus in the city.
