Feast Like a King: Hung King Day Buffet Dinner at Saigon Café Restaurant

In case you didn’t know: Hung Vuong was the legendary founder of the first Vietnamese state, about 3,000 years BCE. Hung King day falls on the 10th day of the 3rd lunar month, so get ready to celebrate it on Thursday, 6 April. And to celebrate, Saigon Café Restaurant has prepared a special buffet night worth a king’s ransom. But don’t worry, it comes at VND 1,300,000++ in this case.

What you can expect is nothing less than a delicious panorama of the best food Asia has to offer. Enjoy the live seafood station, the Vietnamese and Indian stations, the Pan-Asian and Japanese corners as well as some special guests on the menu including various salads, oven-roasted prime ribs with Yorkshire pudding, suckling pig, baked whole sturgeon fish in Vietnamese spices, foie gras and baby lobster cooked to order, oyster with cheese and spinach, deep-fried spring rolls, stir-fried ‘len’ snail with lemongrass-coconut milk, Korean style crispy marinated chicken wings, and much more.

Here’s to the Easter Bunny: Easter Sunday Brunch Buffet at Saigon Café Restaurant

Easter is just around the corner. Saigon Café Restaurant invites you and yours to a traditional Easter party on Sunday, 16 April 2017. And of course, this event will most prominently boast an Easter-themed buffet brunch.

Apart from boiled eggs, the menu includes Easter ham boiled in a creamy horseradish sauce, Easter rabbit stewed in mustard sauce, roast beef prime ribs served with Yorkshire pudding, a selection of chilled seafood, fresh seafood, home-made sushi and sashimi, fresh oysters and lobsters, baked whole salmon fillet, baked oysters and lobsters with cheese and bacon, foie gras, and baby lobster, scampi and flower crab all cooked to order.

Free Flow for a Free Country: Liberation Day Buffet at Saigon Café Restaurant

If you’ve visited the Reunification Palace, then you know that this is where the memorable capture of Saigon by Northern Vietnamese troops that we celebrate every 30 April came to a glorious end. This year’s Liberation Day falls on a Sunday, and, as we all know, a Sunday with a buffet is a good Sunday. And guess what? Saigon Café Restaurant has just that on offer.

This dinner buffet will boast a wide range of fresh seafood, Japanese specialities, a Vietnamese food corner, a noodle station and, above all, a cooked-to-order show area with live preparation of seafood and fresh meat, equipped with a carving station.
