Or sitting in an open-air table or breezy verandah with live Latin American music in a carnival atmosphere? Then Saigon Saigon Rooftop Bar is the place for you.
Located on the 10th floor of Caravelle Hotel, Saigon Saigon Rooftop Bar combines the pleasure of a stunning view with a menu of gourmet sliders, seafood sharing platters and delicious bar bites, which all work together to create a memorable day for you and your loved ones.
A Strong Heritage:
Opened in 1959, Saigon Saigon Rooftop Bar has drawn people from all over the world and played a prominent role as a haven for wartime journalists in the 1960s. An establishment steeped in history, the heritage wall along the staircase leading to the entrance highlights pivotal moments in Caravelle’s history.
This rich history also influences the names of the dishes, which pay homage to Saigon Saigon’s colourful past such as “Correspondents’ Flavours of Vietnam” and “Night of the 29th Sliders”.
A Place for Music:
Six days a week, dance and music come alive as Living Cuba takes the stage, dishing out Latin beats. And on Mondays, Bad Neighbour plays their signature jazz and reggae tunes. The music starts at 9:00 p.m. daily with complimentary salsa classes every Tuesday at 8:30 p.m.
Events and Promotions:
If you like to dance, keep in mind that Celebrate Carnival @ Saigon Saigon Rooftop Bar, a monthly dance party, also takes place at Saigon Saigon. Shake away the stress to Latin American beats and hit the dancefloor while enjoying the complimentary Caipirinha available as you walk in the door. The party starts at 9:00 p.m. on the first Wednesday of every month.
From 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., enjoy 50 percent off your drink bill during Saigon Saigon’s happy hour special.
