SOHY Launches New Set Lunch

Daily News - Saigon/HCMC: Oct. 8, 2018

SOHY Sky Lounge & Dining has officially launched their set lunch menu.

Seated atop the Centec Tower on Nguyen Thi Minh Khai, the rooftop restaurant officially debuted their set lunch 15 November. The restaurant chefs are serving a menu which features both Western and Asian dishes.

Skyline seating is plentiful in Saigon, but SOHY Sky Lounge & Dining’s set lunch makes it a standout. The menu’s dishes start at a reasonable VND95,000 and includes a drink.

“Freshness” Is the Menu’s Only Constant

The lunch menu includes Vietnamese dishes like a chicken noodle soup “quang nam” style for VND95,000 alongside more Western-oriented dishes like a grilled rack of lamb for VND185,000.

Fresh-first sourcing practices dictates the menu. The chefs develop dishes depending on what’s available.

Sky-high views don’t have to come with an astronomical bill. Add dessert to the lunch for two and you still won’t break VND500,000.

A Polyglot Dining Experience

When you say “SOHY,” you’re really describing a network of many different places, which offer diverse experiences. As discussed in greater depth in #iAMHCMC, the chic rooftop restaurant’s look is based on Japanese design team Super Potato’s idea to install a “futuristic beach resort” at the crown of Centec Tower. The restaurant’s many subsections are both modern in some areas, using clean, straight lines, and more classic in other areas, marrying palatial with personal.

SOHY Sky Lounge & Dining offers guests The Star Dining Room fine-dining restaurant; a tastefully done cigar room heavy in wood and leather; and a rooftop bar overlooking District 1, all under—and over—the same roof.
