Disco is back.
INNOVO - VIP Lounge
The party entitled “Funky Town” was the first Purple Disco event since the DJ and Event Producer Alex Gavinha from NightLife Entertainmentnt launched the concept in June. It met all expectations, reliving the wild decor, sparkling outfits and sexy music of a night out in Chicago in the 1970s and 80s.
We tipped back our glasses of champagne and devoured plates of starters to gather our energy before setting out on the dance floor. Limber go-go dancers climbed onto the bar and gyrated to the DJ’s beat of disco hits and current favourites while a crowd of international and Vietnamese party-goers cheered.
Jazz Vang - Live Sax
And above the glittering crowd? Nothing less than a giant disco ball reflecting light down onto the revelers and telling the guests: this is where the action is.
The violet light pouring out from beneath the hidden doorway leading to the Purple Jade bar on the first floor of the Intercontinental Hotel was the first sign that we would be in for some fun. Innovative cocktails and snacks kept the partygoers hopping into the night.
Companies can book a table in advance and treat their top staff and clients to a Purple Disco business party experience. Ice buckets filled with bottles of champagne, plates of finger food and service with a smile make each party feel like the hippest VIP business gathering in town.
