HCMC’s The Reverie Saigon Named Fourth Best Hotel in the World

Daily News - Saigon/HCMC: yesterday

Acclaimed travel publication Condé Nast Traveler has named Saigon’s The Reverie the fourth-best hotel in the world. The opulent hotel, which was included in the website’s “Best Hotels in the World” post on 16 October, joins the ranks of 50 high-class hotels and resorts across the globe, including businesses in Paris, France and New Delhi, India. The Reverie Saigon was the only hotel in Vietnam to make the list.

The list of accommodations was compiled through the publication’s 30th annual Reader’s Choice Awards survey, which took the opinions of more than 300,000 travellers into account. Millions of ratings were tallied during the survey process, and more than 100,000 comments were considered during the creation of the list.

The Reverie, which opened in the Times Square building on Nguyen Hue Boulevard in District 1 in 2015, secured the number-four position on the list with the help of its Italian palazzo-style interior decor and room designs, which author Betsy Blumenthal described as “palatial” and “over-the-top opulent”. Other attractions of note were the three upscale restaurants, the 48-metre-long bar stretching between Dong Khoi and Nguyen Hue and the luxury hotel’s two-storey, 1207-square-metre spa.

Kai Speth, the Vice President of Operations and Business Performance for WMC Group, which operates The Reverie Saigon, said that “the announcement was recognition of the unique vision the hotel presented and its commitment to creating the ultimate guest experience.”

Speth continued, “Saigon is taking its rightful place as one of Asia’s leading cities, and upscale travellers expect the very best attainable—not merely the very best in Vietnam, but the very best anywhere.”

Managed by the Windsor Property Management Group Corporation, The Reverie Saigon is a part of the Leading Hotels of the World, a group which promotes and compiles the world’s most celebrated luxury hotels.

Room prices at The Reverie Saigon average around VND9 million per night.
