Ibis Saigon Airport

When you fly into Tan Son Nhat International Airport, you’ll be able to see it. If you walk six minutes from the terminal, suddenly you’re at the doorstep of ibis Saigon Airport Hotel.

Part of the AccorHotels group, the 282-room ibis Saigon Airport joins 22 Accor hotels in Vietnam. Designed with the business traveller in mind, ibis Saigon Airport offers more than a premium location.

Here you’ll find excellent and professional service across the board, quality food served 24 hours a day at their Oopen Restaurant, outstanding breakfast options that accommodate every traveller’s flight time, well-designed and comfortable rooms, a great rooftop bar (the Hub) to blow off steam and a pool, gym and sauna to soothe you before your next destination.

Rooms

Ibis’ logo is a pillow, and with good reason. This company takes pride in the comfort of their beds, which are all outfitted with high-quality duvets and a truly comfortable mattress.

Ibis 1 bedroom

The rooms here vary in price according to size, ranging from 18 to 72 m2. They even have studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments for anyone who wants a longer stay. After seeing all the amenities and services ibis Saigon Airport offers, this seems like a great choice.

A standard room here comes equipped with the following amenities: a large LCD TV with cable channels; excellent complimentary Wi-Fi; plenty of outlets strategically placed around the room if you’re working on the go; a small refrigerator; a safe; and a coffee maker with several packs of instant coffee and teas.

The Oopen Restaurant

Ibis Saigon Airport has several food options to keep travellers satisfied. Most notably, there’s the Oopen Restaurant, located on the ground floor of the hotel. Here you’ll be able to enjoy Vietnamese and Italian dishes 24 hours a day. Alongside modern takes on the traditional banh mi, you’ll also find international favourites like grilled meat and fish dishes served with a variety of different delicious sauces.

Another notable feature? The amazing breakfast buffets. This hotel caters to travellers who have early flights, so ibis Airport Saigon makes sure everyone can get a meal before they go. The breakfast buffet is separated into three segments. There’s the Early Riser breakfast, served from 4 a.m. to 6 a.m., the conventional breakfast from 6 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., and the Late Riser from 10:30 a.m. to noon.

Plus, the choices for breakfast are great. Guests can enjoy the sushi bar, the small mountain of baked goods, the chaffing dishes of eggs, bacon and sausage and several different choices of coffee and juice. This is definitely a plus for this hotel.

Drinks at The Hub

If you’re a traveller looking to unwind after a day of work or travel (or both), the Hub is waiting for you. This is a rooftop bar with a stunning view: Tan Son Nhat International Airport. The ambiance at the Hub is relaxed and casual. The lighting is dim, and the music is atmospheric, not loud.

ibis hub

At the Hub you can enjoy a variety of snacks with your drink and watch planes take off into the sunset. Not a bad way to spend an evening!

Pool, Spa, Gym

You’ll also find the pool, spa and gym on the top floor. The pool, which features plumeria trees lining one side, is long and narrow – perfect for taking laps.

ibis hotel

Again, we have to mention the view. The pool is right next to the Hub, and basically overlooking Ton Son Nhat Airport’s tarmac. There’s something undeniably special about looking over and seeing one of the premier travelling stops while keeping fit in a beautiful pool.

The gym and spa are small and efficient. The gym has the basic exercise equipment that most people need when they want to keep to a healthy regiment during a business trip. There are actually two steam rooms and saunas at the ibis Saigon Airport: one in the men’s locker room and one in the women’s. It’s easy to change the temperature in the steam room, and the sauna is fully equipped with water to let you sweat out as much stress as you want.

Meeting Rooms

Another notable amenity on offer: meeting rooms. There are five meeting rooms available for booking at ibis Saigon Airport of various sizes and capacities. The largest size is 221 m2 with a maximum capacity of 217.

The maximum banquet capacity is 140, making this a good choice for a meeting, company-wide presentation or maybe just a large get-together.

The Accor group does all it can to cultivate a high level of professionalism in every staff member, and it shows. If you’re looking for a place to spend a night or two (or more!), ibis Saigon Airport is a good option.
