Le Spa du Metropole

Whether you’re searching for a luxury body treatment, top-quality pedicure or a Vietnamese massage, Le Spa du Metropole is one of the best places to relax in Hanoi.

With an expansive list of treatments, top-quality facilities and staff trained to meticulously high standards, Le Spa du Metropole is well-equipped to serve the needs of stressed-out businessmen and women, and Hanoi holidaymakers alike.

Opened in 2009, the spa facilities here have been on the rise ever since, taking a prestigious place in the top 5 hotel spas in the world in 2013/14. Plans for a future expansion reflect both the popularity and ambition of this beautiful, relaxing spa.

Ambiance

The design and decor of Le Spa du Metropole is sumptuous and stylistically astute, with every treatment and massage room decorated according to its own theme. Indochine, French and traditional Vietnamese design elements all have their part to play.

Split over two floors, the spa’s eight treatment rooms are complemented by a reflexology room which can accommodate three people at once, plus a room dedicated to manicures and pedicures. There are also single and double massage rooms, so those who wish to can share the experience with a friend or partner. This is to say nothing of the sauna, steam room and jacuzzi, which are available to all spa guests.

In addition to the expected lockers, robes, towels and toiletries the massage rooms come with their own jewellery boxes and makeup tables.

Service

Staff are polite and professional, trained to an extremely high standard by both in-house and external trainers – as well as completing a two-year qualification as a minimum requirement before beginning their employment.

Alongside the standard spa treatments, Le Spa boasts special spa treatments, developed by Accor exclusively for the Metropole, that promise to deliver unique and unparalleled relaxation.

As with any spa experience, make sure to request the right massage pressure before you begin – and don’t hesitate to ask the masseuse to adjust this if it isn’t right.

Products

Ytsara products, made in Thailand and used exclusively in 5-star hotels and spa facilities, are also available here. Both companies use exclusively natural ingredients.

If you fall in love with any of the products used during your treatment they are available to buy from the hotel reception.

Experience

Le Spa’s signature treatment is a refreshing and rejuvenating facial, which promises to leave your skin both looking and feeling younger. It takes sixty minutes and combines natural products and French treatment techniques.

There is also a traditional local treatment on offer, dubbed the Vietnamese Journey, for those wanting to experience a little bit of relaxation, Viet-style.
