InterContinental Hanoi Westlake

Established in 2007 on the peaceful waters of the largest lake in Hanoi, the 5-star InterContinental Hanoi Westlake is a welcome haven from the bustling city center. In 2017, the World Travel Awards even named the hotel “Vietnam’s Most Romantic Resort”.

Food and Drink

Its uniquely designed and intimate dining facilities offer delicious fare from around the world. Whether you’re in the mood for Italian, a classic brasserie, authentic Vietnamese cuisine, or a delicious cocktail as the sun goes down, the InterContinental Hanoi Westlake has it all.

Reminiscent of the contemporary brasseries of France, Café du Lac sits over West Lake, with a classic design creating an inviting and informal atmosphere. Delight in delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets along with an à la carte menu featuring an array of signature dishes at this all-day dining venue.

Other dining options include the Milan restaurant, specialising in Italian cuisine, and Saigon Restaurant, which offers the “Bamboo Village” traditional Vietnamese dinner every Thursday. See more in the Deals & Events tab. For a particularly romantic evening on the lake, you’ll find no place better than Sunset Bar. Situated on its own small island on West Lake, this cocktail lounge takes “riverside drinks” to a whole new level.

Rooms and Accommodation

The InterContinental Hanoi Westlake has four different types of rooms to suit your individual needs: Superior, Deluxe Panoramic View, Overwater Pavilion and Overwater Panoramic View, each at a spacious 43m2. As their names suggest, you can enjoy breathtaking views of West Lake right from your balcony or pavilion, or stay in a room entirely suspended above water for a truly unique experience.

In addition, the Lotus, Grand Westlake, and Presidential suites, starting at 60m2, are a beautiful blend of Vietnamese décor that offer generous space for relaxation and entertainment. Suite bookings also include complimentary access to exclusive club lounge services, breakfast, afternoon tea and evening cocktails with canapés.

Local Insight

The hotel is adjacent to the famous 800-year-old Golden Lotus (Kim Lien) Pagoda, and just a 15 minutes’ drive from the Old Quarter.
