Secondary school at IGS (otherwise known as Deutsche Schule Ho Chi Minh City) is split into two stages starting with a two-year orientation level and culminating in the mixed-language International Baccalaureate (GIB Diploma). IGS belongs to a network of 140 German Schools worldwide and is also an accredited IB World School. The programme eases the transition into universities in Germany, Switzerland, and Austria.
