Built between 1886 and 1891, the Saigon Central Post Office is an important historical stop on any visit to Ho Chi Minh City. Often mistakenly credited to Gustave Eiffel, it was actually designed by French architect Alfred Foulhoux.The fully functional post office features a vaulted roof, arched windows and beautiful hand painted maps. Stop by the souvenir stalls at the entrance to find memorabilia to bring home.
