Xa Loi Pagoda

citypassguide

Xa Loi Pagoda is an iconic Buddhist site built in 1956. There are seven tiered temples within the complex and a beautiful garden. Xa Loi is known for being the former home of the most recognizable symbol of the conflict between Vietnam and America—Thich Quang Duc, the monk who self-immolated in protest of religious persecution.
